What is Royal agaricus ?
The Royal Agaricus mushroom(Agaricus Sylvaticus Shaeffer) was first discovered by Japanese-Brazilian farmer in the summer of 1991. In stark contrast to mushrooms that grow in dark and damp areas, the Royal Agaricus flourishes in the powerful Brazilian sunlight that often exceeds 35-38 degrees Celsius during the summer. Today, Agaricus U.S.A., Inc. the parent company of Agaricus Group L.L.C. and Agaricus Do Brazil acres of Royal Agaricus producing fields 160km outside San Paulo, Brazil.
The Royal Agaricus is naturally grown and cultivated under direct sunlight and without any artificial elements. Farmers who harvest the mushrooms take great steps in preserving the abundant nrtrients locked within. They diligently pick and carfully wash each mushroom. Next, they cut the mushrooms and dry them. The drying process itself lasts 10-12 hours in a room that is between 50-55 degrees Celsius. The farmers must maintain these somewhat tedious steps to ensure the integrity of the mushroom; thus eliminating the need for any artifical preservatives. In short, the harvesting process is a completely natural process where no preservatives or artifical elements are added. The Royal Agaricus is not a medicine. But rather, it is a wonderful natural food supplement suited for everybody's diet.

Natural Killer Cells
The human immune system comprised of tissues and cells defends the body against diseases. More specifically, natural killer cells or NK cells play a critical role neutralizing outside organisms such as viruses and bacteria that enter the body. Through a process called phagocytosis, the NK cells "kiss" and engulf foreign agents and release toxic chemicals that destry them. In cancer patients, the NK cells and cancer cells constantly battle one another. The NK cells attempt cancer cells while at the same time cancer cells try to neutraliz NK cells before they can harm them. If the NK cells are weak or if there are not enough NK cells in the body, the cancer spreads throughout the body resulting in death. Several factors contribute to this weakening of the immune system: most notably stress, age, pollution, and smorking.

What makes Royal Agaricus so effective ?
According to studies done by Dr. Mandooh Ghoneum Ph.D., the Royal Agaricus may aid in stimulating the body's natural production of immune cells (NK cells, macrophages, T-cells). Or in simpler term, Royal Agaricus helps increase the number of immune cells in the body. In addition, Royal Agaricus seems to increase the effectiveness and efficency of the immune cells. That is, the Royal Agaricus appears to make each NK cell more powerful and capable of destroying foreign substances.

Dr. Ghoneum's Research
In July of 1995, Ghoneum from UCLA presented a report during the 9th World Immunology Congress held in San Francisco. According to the report, he found an important correation between the use of Royal Agaricus and the increase in number and effectivness of NK cells in laboratory mice. In one experiment, laboratory mice known to contain cancer cells were treated with Royal Agaricus . Scientists cultivated the white blood cells of these mice for over twelve hours. After only three hours, the immune systems of the mice produced NK cells that destroyed 57% of the cancerous cells.
In contrast, the white blood cells of the so-called"control" mice lacked Royal Agaricus supplementation and produced NK cells that destroyed only 2% of the cancerous cells. The results therefore show that white blood cells supplemented with Royal Agaricus produced NK cells that fight cancer cells 40 times more effectively compared with white blood cells that are left untreated. In addition, the Royal Agaricus mice contained three times more NK cells in their bodies than untreated mice. Thus, it can be deduced that Royal Agaricus seems to increase the number of NK cells by three times the amount and appears to make each NK cell ten times more powerful. This study provides powerful evidence that Royal Agaricus may in fact boost the immune system.
In addition, the study shows a nine-fold increase in the activity of NK cells in mice that drank the Royal Agaricus tea for two days. Even if the mice stopped drinking the tea, the effect of the Royal Agaricus was still apparent because the NK cell activity remained at 7.55 times the rate of the control mice. Furthermore, in another experiment, the from Royal Agaricus tea was placed in a petri dish with over 130 million leukemia cells. After 48 hours, most of the leukemia cells disappeared.

Why use Royal Agaricus ?
As Dr. Ghoneum's research demonstrates, the use of Royal Agaricus boosts the immune system in the fight against diseases. Cancer patients in particular have three major options in treatment:
1. surgery
2. chemotherapy
3. radiology
Chemotherapy is a common form of cancer treatment. Unfortunately; however, chemotherapy kills both healthy and sick cells and most often produces severe side-effects. Similarly, radiation therapy also results in hairloss and nausea. However, patients who suffer from cancer turn to aroyal Agaricus because it:
1. May strengthen the immune system and may help in fighting disease.
2. May diminish the negative side-effects associated with traditional medicaltreatments.

How do I use the Royal Agaricus ?
We recommend that people who wish to maintain their overall health use 2-5 grams of the dried Royal Agaricus. Like with any other mushroom, the Royal Agaricus can be used for everyday cooking. For example, it can be tossed in a salad or placed in soups, on pizzas, or they can be chewed as is.
For people who wish to eat the mushrooms as is should consume 5 to 7 pieces throughout the day. More specifically, you can eat three pieces in the morning, followed by two pieces at lunch, and anther two pieces two hours before going to sleep.
For people who wish to combat diseases such as cancer or hepatitis, we rcommend that they make a tea out of the mushrooms. The following is a simple recipe they can follow to make the Royal Agaricus tea:
Place 30 grams of the Royal Agaricus mushroom in 1.4 liters of purified derinking water.For best results, it is recommended to soak the mushrooms overnight. The liquid will turn to a dark mushroom brown color. Next, bring the liquid to a slow boil using low heat. One must take extra precaution in preventing the liquid from coming tona rapid boil and spilling its contents over the side. The boiling process should last around twenty miniutes. Once the liquid boils, let cool and refrigerate.
The liquid should be consumed in 3 days. For best results, a cup of the Royal Agaricus tea should be taken once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once 2 hours before going to sleep. Once the tea is made, do not throw the mushroom away. It can be used in soups, salads, etc. A second tea can also be made using the mushurooms from the first tea and by adding 5-6 more mushroom pieces. The same process should be used to make the second tea.

The Royal Agaricus is not a medicine but rather a natural health food that has been shown to boost the immune system. People who are allergic to mushroom or mushroom products should not use this product. Also, some patients(1in100) have experienced a loose bowl after Royal Agaricus use. This is something that is not serious and will subside once the body gets used to the mushroom. This reaction is called a bengin reaction and will last from 3 to 7 days. The Royal Agaricus tea is just one way a person can enjoy these special mushrooms. The tea itself is brewed best using s glass coffee maker or ceramic pots. Pots made out of aluminum should not be used. In addition, the tea should be kept refrigerared and consumed in 3 days.
Please do not eat the white package that comes with the mushroom. Once the bag is opened, please consume the product within six months. Please store the mushrooms in a cool environment and please do not let the mushrooms sit in sunlight.
